Wonderful

The pool was very very nice, especially the pool bar. Meeting a few other friendly travellers were additional highlights that we didn't get everywhere. Breakfast was spectacular - Westin breakfasts seem to never disappoint. There were so much variety that it was almost impossible to have it all in one breakfast, almost worthwhile to make sure you stay a few nights because of this. The kids club was entertaining for my 8 year old son and his cousins (2 x 7 yo; 1 x 4yo) but my son probably enjoyed better because of his cousins. Staff were especially friendly and helpful. We travelled with elderly parents who had mobility problems, and they were more than capable of making all of our lives easier.

The tiles near the pool in the villas were very slippery and actually caused my son to slip and hit his head. Luckily it was not a big hit. In the main building, there were some painting works that wreaked of paint fumes whenever we had to walk past it. Hopefully this disappears once the maintenance works are complete.

Highly recommended

I highly recommend booking a stay at this fantastic resort, where the staff is incredibly welcoming and always wearing smiles. They offer endless support, and the facilities are kept impeccably clean. The charming landscape adds to the overall appeal, and the breathtaking swimming pool with an ocean view is an absolute highlight.

I believe that the price we are paying for our stay is somewhat higher compared to the rates during the low season period.

The Rahmans Honeymoon

The resort was awesome! We enjoyed our honeymoon there! Loacation was exceptional! Staff & service was tiptop!

There's nothing that we do don't like except that need to be careful of wild monkeys around

The room and the view were exceptional. The entire resort was very comfortable and the pool was great too.

Indian food choices should be a little more varied and have non-veg items as well.

The Room was Spacious. Nice Pool and overall cleanliness

Breakfast was lousy did not meet the expectation despite the price on higher side. Food was not worth the price and food quality was bad

I loved our stay, the staff were so helpful , kind. In the end felt so rejuvenated!!!!

Th bed was excellent and one of the most comfortable sleep I’ve had in awhile! And not only did we enjoy the luxury of our stay in the hotel but was also given a pass to an exclusive lounge with snacks, hot drinks etc at the Langkawi airport, courtesy of Westin Hotel.

The kids activities were slightly lacking

could be much better

Spacious room , comfortable bed and nice bedding. Bathroom and the toiletries were nice. Great views all around. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The breeze bar has a nice setting and the cocktails are very tasty, happy hour is a bonus.

Coral beach definitely not to go without flip flops. The wooden deck around the splash pool are very worn down, the edges are curved up. My babies tripped over a few times and got cuts by it. The square platform in the splash pool is quite a hazard, considering it is catered for babies / children then pointy corners in the pool isn’t parents favourite. The outdoor play area needs a lot of TLC, which was a shame because we couldn’t bring our babies into it.

Langkawi Westin - 12th September 2019

Everything was superb. They greated us with a complimentary drink as soon as we arrived. The rooms and facilities were excellent. Staff were very polite and we were always greeted when they passed us. Will definitely stay there when we are in Langkawi.

It was on the pricey side but the service was excellent.

The perfect wedding anniversary

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. the pool was great. Excellent & fast service. Complementary airport shuttle. In the airport there is a special lounge with complementary drinks. This was our second time at the resort and we had a special treatment by the staff. Special thanks for Mr. Izwan Saad.

1) Pool was great - great view and nice bar

1) Pool was great - great view and nice bar 2) Lobby reception has a nice touch with light orange and apple juice to refresh 3) Integrated nature - monkeys could be seen around the lush green estate. 4) Breakfast selection had a good mix of local and international.

1) We accidentally spilled and broke a glass of chocolate milkshake at the restaurant. Instead of moving us to another table, we had to stand by the side while the waitress cleaned up the table...which you can imagine was quite messy. In this case, it would have been good for the waiter to move us to another table as we had a kid with us, broken glass on the table and spillage of milkshake spilling from table to floor. 2) We walked in for buffet breakfast and i was surprised with the tone of the waiter when the he said 'You have to pay, you know?' I went to get my food and before i could even sit down, the same waiter came with the bill. In this instance, perhaps to make guests feel more comfortable, he could have ensured that there was cutlery laid out (table was literally empty) and guest had the opportunity to have a sip before presented with the bill to sign. 3) Having forgotten to bring my USB cable to charge my phone, i went to the reception hoping to borrow one but was told the hotel doesnt have 1 to loan. In the end, a gentleman at the reception called Refi was kind enough to lend one to me. In this day and age, it would be good for the hotel to make these cables readily available. I have stayed in many Westins and all has been good, so I'm rather disappointed with Westin Langkawi. I definitely think there is alot of room for improvement in terms of training the staff - greet and smile, step in the shoes of the guest and think for them and to have a strong hospitality mindset.

Good resort, very expensive food

Rooms are clean and furnished well . Very good housekeeping services. Nice swimming pool. Nice staff .

Location isn’t that much good, little bit far from the beautiful west Beaches in langkawi( pantai cenang ) and others. Very very expensive food . ( unreasonable prices ) for dining in. They have to review that and try to change the prices as it’s not acceptable honestly. No watersports inside or near to hotel, but they can arrange reservations with paradise 101 .

Breakfast was fantastic, especially the fresh juice corner. So happy to have stayed here, all staff has made it fabulous. Special thanks to Navneet frim front office to accomodate us in every way. Love you all and hope to be back soon

The breakfast was super yummy and full of variety. We also got our room upgraded which we appreciated alot! thank you.

there was no coffee machine in the room which was surprising. also, room service was sometime slow and we had a problem with our AC.
